Who we are
ABOUT US
Miles of smiles foundation is a youth led non- governmental organization that was founded in 2017 by young people living with HIV. The foundation works hand in hand with other organizations and networks to implement activities that benefit children, young people and the community at large.
OUR OBJECTIVES
- To provide psychosocial support to children, adolescents and young people living with chronic illnesses through individual, family and group interventions offered by peers with lived experiences.
- To develop the ability of young people to make informed decisions, compete favorably and thrive in their social and professional lives.
- To provide a supportive platform for young people to discover, develop and nurture their talents in order to have identity and ability to utilize the opportunities associated with their specific talents
- To improve the lives of children, adolescents and young people through digital innovations that improve their health and general well-being.
Our Mission
To refine the lives of young people both infected and affected with/by HIV/AIDS through the provision of psychosocial support, economic empowerment, education support, networking and provision of developing opportunities.
