This is one of our main activities conducted in various ways such as during one-on-one peer sessions either at the health facility or during a home visit, during school and community outreaches where for community outreaches, we provide HIV testing services and condom distribution. In addition, we hold group sessions with street children in rehabilitation centers because populations who live in situations of inequality and exclusion and struggle to realize their basic human rights are vulnerable to health risks, including the risk of HIV, TB and malaria that is why we work hand in hand with ministries such as “Amagara Amasya” meaning, “new life” in southwestern Uganda to provide HIV and AIDS sensitizations and life experience sharing for adolescents and young people to stay safe and be safe from HIV and other STIs.
